At WrestleMania XXIV, Undertaker defeated Edge when the Rated-R Superstar tapped out to The Phenom's devastating submission maneuver. mvp At Judgment Day, MVP won a 2-out-of-3 Falls match in two straight falls to become the United States Champion, the latest in a long line that includes several Hall of Famers and current SmackDown Superstars. ECW's John Morrison & The Miz became the first Superstars from the Land of the Extreme to strike gold thanks to SmackDown & ECW's working agreement. Morrison & Miz defeated MVP & Matt Hardy on the Nov. 16 Friday Night SmackDown to claim the gold.
